The Extra 300LP/330LC represents the civilian aerobatic worlds’ Gold Standard for competition and aerobatic demonstration aircraft. Originally designed as the Extra 230 in the early 1980’s by Walter Extra, the design has evolved to utilize the 300+ horsepower AEIO-580 series engines for maximum performance. The aircraft design features a steel tube fuselage with carbon fiber wings and tail for maximum strength. The Extra aircraft series is the most winning competition aerobatic aircraft in the world and has been thrilling crowds at airshows for decades. The Extra 300 L, LP, and LC models feature a second pilot’s seat for aerobatic training or thrill rides.
