CT-155 HAWK

CT-155 HAWK | Bagotville international air show

The CT-155 Hawk is similar to a frontline fighter aircraft; this advanced jet trainer is equipped with a Rolls-Royce turbojet engine that generates more than 6,000 pounds of thrust and enables the jet to reach supersonic speeds. With its simulated weapons system, the jet can perform a wide range of high-performance training missions.

RCAF apprentice fighter pilots have been flying the CT-155 Hawk during their fourth training phase in Moosejaw, Saskatchewan and in Cold Lake, Alberta. Once they graduate, student pilots can finally join their first CF-188 Hornet squadron: 410 Tactical Fighter (Operational Training) Squadron.
