CH-148 Cyclone

CH-148 Cyclone | Bagotville international air show

In November 2004, the Canadian government signed a contract with the Sikorsky company for the purchase of 28 CH-148 Cyclone helicopters. It is immediately designated as the successor to the legendary CH-124 Sea King. It has protection equipment against lightning and high-intensity radio frequency pulses and is among the most efficient maritime helicopters in the world. Able to land on any modern frigate, the CH-148 Cyclone performs surface and submarine surveillance and control, search and rescue and tactical transport missions. It can perform its work, day and night, in most weather conditions, to support Canadian and international missions.
